Dear Parents,

Welcome to Apex Tennis Academy Junior Tennis registration page.

Our tennis program follows the ITF (International Tennis Federation) stage by stage system:

Red Ball - ages 5-7
Orange Ball - ages 8-9
Green Ball - ages 10-12
Yellow Ball - 14 years and under

Please note that there will be occasional overlap between the age groups when junior players would be recommended by their coache(s) to play in the next category based on accelerated performance and other technical reasons.

Secondly our tennis program identifies players as:

RECREATIONAL - players who practice once weekly. Usually in a group with classmates and have no interest or motivation to compete. Emphasis is on basic technical tennis skills and good social etiquette.

COMPETITION PLAYERS - This group would comprise of players who are interested in improving their physical, technical, mental and tactical tennis skills to prepare them for local tournaments. In addition to group sessions, it is highly recommend that these players register for Saturday sessions.

PERFORMANCE TEAM - Apex Tennis Academy performance team players will be prepared to practice for minimum three hours per week. The sessions would be group social, competition and performance squad. These are players who want to compete in National Tournaments in the near future.
