Philip Abayomi Nigeria’s U-17 Tennis Champ

Apex Tennis Academy recently had an online chat with Philip Abayomi, Nigeria’s current under-17 lawn tennis champion. We asked him some questions to get to know him better.

Q1) How old were you, when you started playing tennis? I was 11 years old.

Q2) What is your current International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior ranking? I am currently ranked 380 in the world by the ITF.

Q3) How many days do you practice/train per week? I train 6 days per week.

Q4) Which international tournaments have you played in or titles have you won abroad? I am the reigning West African u-18 junior boys tennis champion and I have played tournaments in South Africa, Norway, Ghana etc
